Hi.

I’m a fan of Manhattan Art, Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle! The best way to experience New York City that I've found is by word of mouth. Great ideas and inspiration often come from other people's thoughts and experiences.

Artist Korbin Bielski TALKS: on Fine Art & Photography

Artist Korbin Bielski TALKS: on Fine Art & Photography

From fine art to fashion, photographer Korbin Bielski is a versatile artist with great passion for his work. Whether shooting a model, beautiful landscapes, interior design or a simple street scene, he finds beauty in all things through his lens. In his own words, Bielski "strives to capture the perfect mood in every photograph, that candid moment when the model is completely relaxed and unaware, that is when real emotion is captured."

While his work takes him to many places, the artist finds great inspiration in New York City, where he frequently spends time exploring the city. Bielski has some favorite backdrops in the Big Apple: " I love the backdrop of the town homes in the West Village, the brick and character of the old buildings offer such a great mood and texture. And the small streets around Commerce Street; I really like those areas that really feel like a “village”. Photographing a model in that area can be made to feel like any era, it’s timeless. I love the look of Washington St. in DUBMO, the view of the Manhattan Bridge and the cobblestone streets. It’s an overly instagrammed area, but I still love it. Central Park is a photographer's paradise and it changes from season to season: the lake, old bridges and tree lined walkways are so beautiful."

When asked what his favorite spots were to indulge in here in Manhattan, Bielski didn't hesitate. "I like grabbing a whisky at Pete’s Tavern and a wine at Lelabar. I also love the vibe of El Quinto Pino--the uni panini! One of the best things I have ever had is the lamb noodles at Xi’an Famous Foods! And one of the best pizzas I have ever had was at Di Fara!"

Currently the photographer is working on his American Primitive series, which is a comment on the digital age and social media. You can find his work at korbinbielski.com
