INVITATION, Jan 26th: Love Is....
New York artist Marco Santini is finishing that sentence through his artwork, one piece at a time. And this Saturday, January 26th, he will be on hand at Bloomingdale’s SOHO location to customize purchases with his artwork.
Everything from t-shirts, sweats, books and even the iconic bags will become a canvas for Santini on Saturday.
On January 19 the artist did the same to great success at the store’s Flagship location at 59th Street. He is the latest curator to be featured at The Carousel at Bloomingdale’s, the store’s rotating pop-up shop.
From January 10-March 4, the theme for each curator is LOVE IS....Come see what pieces you will love to have customized by Santini.
He’ll also be handing out his One Love logo. On Valentine’s Day he will be back to the 59th Street Bloomingdale’s to paint a window mural incorporating the word love in many languages.

Marco Santini is a NYC-based street artist and photographer who draws inspiration from urban landscapes, graffiti and the organic cycle of regeneration that the City offers on a daily basis.
After studying Linguistic Anthropology at Brown University, Marco worked at major branding and marketing agencies in NYC before turning to the arts. He has a fluid and experimental style across multiple mediums, including window markers, acrylics, spray paints, magazines, knives and paint markers.
Santini recently returned from a successful showcase at SXSW, where he painted at the Sound and Color ATX event at Lewis Carnegie gallery, which acquired two of his canvases. Santini was also selected as Maxim Magazine’s Artist in Residence for their December cover launch party for Art Basel in Miami. Santini’s work has been featured at Rare Art Gallery, GalleryBar, Rogue Gallery, Arts United, Grolsch Headquarters, Art House in East Hampton, Evelo BioSciences and the Quarterly Art Soiree at Webster Hall. Recently, Santini won first prize at a juried art exhibition at Piermont’s Flywheel Gallery. Santini is also the subject of a new art docuseries (working title: Opening Night), following four emerging artists around NYC as they prepare for solo shows.
